Raising awareness, visibility and support for invisible disabilities
Video produced by students with invisible disabilities as part of TAP, a programme by TomoWork.

Approximately 1.3 billion people worldwide experience significant disabilities, according to the WHO.
That's over 200 million people.

Of that, approximately 70% have conditions that aren't immediately apparent to others.
These are invisible disabilities. Sometimes also known as hidden disabilities

Invisible disabilities refer to physical, neurological, cognitive or sensory impairments that aren’t immediately apparent, but significantly impact a person’s daily life.
They affect how someone moves, feels, thinks or senses the world – but you may not notice just by looking.
This includes neurodivergence, learning differences, sensory sensitivities and developmental delays. While not always recognised as disabilities, chronic illnesses and mental health conditions also create similar hidden challenges that make every tasks difficult.
People with invisible disabilities quietly face challenges everyday, often quietly and without support. Others may underestimate how difficult daily tasks can be.
Some examples may include.
Many people in Singapore live with a disability. Many of these are conditions you can’t see.
These are invisible, not imaginary.
And just because they’re coping doesn’t mean it’s easy. They face challenges that often go unseen and unsupported.
We want to change that.

Infinity Within shines a light on invisible disabilities. It’s a campaign advocating for greater awareness, visibility and support for people with invisible disabilities in Singapore.
The movement works to make the invisible, visible. By raising awareness, sharing real stories, and guiding respectful, practical actions, we help people turn understanding into everyday impact —creating empathy, connections and a more inclusive society.
Everything begins with awareness.
Most of us don’t think much about disabilities or hidden challenges—but they are all around us. What can we learn? How do we do better?
Infinity Within aims to spread awareness and empathy, helping people feel seen, understood, and supported—at work, in public, and in everyday social interactions.
Living with invisible disabilities isn’t something experienced by some distant community out there—it's your friend, colleague, or someone you pass by every day.
Many face their challenges in silence, needing support but unsure how to ask without facing stigma. And often unable to access help since their struggles aren't obvious.
Infinity Within shares real stories from real people. Hearing directly from those with invisible disabilities helps us understand the challenges and everyday experiences they face, and discover the support and changes they'd appreciate the most.
Now that you’re aware, how can you make everyday life a little easier for someone?
Infinity Within shows you how to take action with practical tips. Whether it’s small, thoughtful changes you can make tomorrow and everyday acts of respect, or bigger steps like transforming your workplace into an effectively inclusive one.
Through these actions, we hope to connect people and build a sense of community, working together to create a more inclusive Singapore.

The imVISIBLE Pin, a quiet yet powerful symbol of support for people with invisible disabilities. It says
“I see you, I support you, I stand with you.”
The pin opens space for dialogue. To listen, learn and understand hidden disabilities. it's also a gentle reminder to show empathy in everyday interactions.
We hope to grow a community and a movement, strengthening awareness today and influencing inclusion tomorrow.
